Building Public Awareness

To increase public support for affordable housing, the Partnership commits substantial resources to raising awareness of the housing shortage, putting a face on housing need, and demonstrating that our state’s affordable housing crisis affects all of us.

A recent Partnership publication describes Wisconsin’s housing crisis in non-numerical terms and makes general proposals for action. In his regular newsletter column, The Way It Looks to Me, our executive director addresses the affordable housing community as a key catalyst for change in the ways affordable housing is produced and paid for. These editorials frequently appear as guest columns in newspapers throughout the state.
