Community Building
The Partnership launched its Community Building Program in 2006. This exciting initiative combines our experience as developers and consultants with our success in partnerships involving nonprofit and for-profit developers, local government officials and the private sector. Building on this unique experience, we help communities make realistic, market-driven plans to provide affordable workforce housing for a range of incomes, in developments that conserve land and protect the environment.
Services available through the Community Building Program include project conceptualization, identification of project partners and development team members, financial packaging, feasibility analysis, housing needs assessment/market analysis, and comprehensive development consulting. The Partnership can also participate in projects as a developer or co-developer.
In offering these services, the Partnership draws on its experience with workforce housing, developing mixed-income housing within a Smart Growth framework and bringing together the right mix of people to address community housing needs. Follow the links below to find out about that experience.
