Down Payment/Rehab Assistance
For many households, down payment assistance opens the door to home ownership. The Partnership has many years’ experience in the design and management of down payment and rehabilitation assistance programs of various sizes.
We currently manage the statewide Downpayment Plus® and Downpayment Plus Advantage® programs, another program serving the City of Middleton and three CDBG-funded rehabilitation loan/grant programs serving Waukesha County. In addition, we manage federal HOME program operations for the HOME Consortium, which covers a four-county area in southeastern Wisconsin. Our work for the Consortium includes managing a down payment assistance program for first-time and lower-income home buyers, as well as a rehabilitation program that serves both owner-occupants and investor-owners.
Our experience also includes underwriting services for multimillion-dollar loan and equity funds, and the design of specialized loan programs for home owners and small investor-owners.
