Home Owner Support
Buying a home is the primary way for most households to build assets in the American economy. But lower-income households often need help to make a successful transition from rental to home ownership.
We continually seek ways to work with other nonprofits on expanding and strengthening their home ownership support programs.
A few years ago we organized and then staffed a statewide network of home ownership counseling agencies. Although the network is no longer active, we continue to maintain a database to help lenders and consumers locate Wisconsin counseling agencies by city, by county or by name.
