Housing Options for People with DisabilitiesPhoto of a woman in a wheelchair

Since 1987 the Partnership has worked to expand the range of housing options available to people with disabilities in Wisconsin and around the country. We have worked with state and local government agencies to provide training to advocacy groups, housing providers and service agencies, and to develop policy and design new programs. We have also forged strong alliances and working relationships with advocates and consumer groups.

Our experience has brought us national recognition as providers of technical assistance and as designers of housing programs for people with mental illnesses and developmental and physical disabilities, and families and individuals who have experienced homelessness.

For examples of our work in expanding housing options for people with disabilities, visit the following pages: Wisconsin Supported Housing Partnership; Coachyard Square Condominiums, Madison.
