The Wisconsin Partnership operates Downpayment Plus, a program that helps income-eligible individuals and households become home owners.  Follow this link to the Downpayment Plus Consumer Center.

If you need assistance with other personal housing concerns, we suggest you begin by contacting a housing counseling agency near you.

Where does WPHD get project ideas?

The Wisconsin Partnership gets project ideas from a variety of sources. Sometimes the ideas come from our own staff. Sometimes local government agencies or community-based organizations request our assistance. We have even helped groups of individuals start new organizations to meet specific kinds of housing need. As you explore our website, you will see that we have worked with a central-city church to build senior housing , helped the U.S. Army convert military houses into affordable rental housing, and designed a low-interest loan program for small investor-owners. We are proud of our ability to respond effectively to a wide range of housing concerns. If you have a project idea, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
