Annual Report for 1999

Released in October 2000, the Partnership's annual report for 1999 summarizes our progress in implementing a new strategic plan. Here are some highlights:

Expanding our Role as a Developer:

• Defining our development philosophy
• Construction underway on a condominium project in Madison
• Results from development consulting contracts

Building Partnerships:

• Racine Housing and Neighborhood Partnership moves forward
• HUD technical assistance contract continues
• Dane County Housing Development Fund enters implementation phase

Demonstrating that Housing Can Enrich People's Lives:

• Network of home ownership counseling agencies expands
• Study completed on access to Section 8 and public housing by people with disabilities

Expanding our Advocacy and Education Roles:

• Active participation in the National Association of Housing Partnerships (now the Housing Partnership Network)

Increasing our Visibility:

• Quarterly newsletter launched
• Website developed

Strengthening our Financial Base:

• Investments in preserving affordable housing
