Biennial Report for 2002-2003
Both risks and rewards are part of the affordable housing business. Released in October 2004, this report describes some of the risks and rewards the Partnership has experienced in its most recent biennium:
- more involvement in workforce housing as an issue and a line of business
- programmatic and financial success with the Downpayment Plus® program
- a successful conclusion to work in the Racine Housing and Neighborhood Partnership’s first target neighborhood
- continued heavy investment in The Uplands subdivision, with project completion set for 2006
- expansion of HUD-supported technical assistance into other Midwestern states
- advocacy work that helped preserve the property tax exemption for nonprofit-owned rental housing
